Venue

We found the Thompson Landry Gallery kind of by accident. We had booked a meeting at a different gallery in The Distillery, but were a little underwhelmed by the space. After wandering around the area, and accidentally breaking into the Fermentation Cellar (which is an awesome venue but unavailable on our date), we stumbled upon Thompson Landry. We were charmed by the place and the variety of art on display, and are delighted to be able celebrate our wedding with all of you in the gallery's Cooperage Space at 6 Trinity Street*.

The Distillery district was once the Gooderham and Worts distillery and is now a pedestrian residential and commercial area, characterized by cobblestone streets and 19th century industrial architecture. There are shops, restaurants, and galleries spread throughout the area, as well as the Mill Street Brewery, Izumi Sake, and Spirit of York Distillery. We recommend spending some time visiting the area at some point during your visit.

*The invitations incorrectly list the address as 9 Trinity Street.
